My Future (part 2)

So here it is! Part two as promised! In this one I have some pictures to show you.

These first ones are layouts of what we want the barn and land to look like from up high. They aren’t very good pictures because they are drawn in pencil, so I tried my best in editing them.

This first one is the whole layout of the land. The barn is in the upper right corner, my house is in the left corner, and the rest is pastures and riding areas.

This is the house area.

And this is the barn.

Now here are the same pictures with some drawing on them.

This one is the house. Black is the house; red is the rabbit houses; light green is the chicken coop; white is gates; gray is fencing; yellow is the goat barn; dark green is trees; and brown is the driveway. Part of the barn is on the right side, so I just did orange as the stalls, and purple as the random things in the barn.

This one is the barn. Orange is the stalls; red is wash stalls; white is grooming stalls; green is feed room; grey is fencing; purple is gates; yellow is shelters; dark green is trees; brown is the driveway and parking lot; and black is just random walls. Don’t mind the giant brown dot, it wouldn’t let me erase it. The tack room is really complicated, so I just left it empty, but you can see it pretty well. It has a changing room, shower, bathroom, and of course, tack storage. The other part is all boarder’s closets, so anyone that boards a horse, can have a closet to keep their stuff.

The little road that comes off of the parking lot leads to more pastures, manure piles, a breeding shed, and hay and bedding storage.

Every little square if you can see them, counts as five feet.

So, that’s about it for this post, there will definitely be a third post. The next one will have lots of lists about things like landscaping and money and such. Hope you enjoyed!!

  1. I love your plans! Can you invite me over to see all of this one day? The color coded plans were very easy to read.
