Mini Brooms

I made some little brooms for Halloween and I thought I would show you how I made them.

I started with some embroidery string, a couple twigs, and a square of burlap.

My first attempt started with wrapping and tying a burlap square around a twig-

Then I took all the strings going horizontal off (if that makes sense).

And the last step was just cutting the strings shorter.

But this method was kinda hard and took awhile, so instead I took apart another square of burlap and collected all the strings, bunched them all together and tied them on.

This was much easier for the other two I made, and I feel like they came out better looking.

So, the only thing left to do is set them up! I put them in some little spaces in my dollhouses.
